Network redesign for ABC.
The team was tasked with building a graphics toolkit that would evoke a ABC’s new network identity, while display programming information effectively. After designing all of ABC’s stings, bumpers, promos, and lower thirds, we built out templates for their on air and affiliate graphics teams. We designed a distinct graphic style for dramas and comedies.
Edgeworx was hired for their expertise in building out network identities. The design team worked closely with the producers and editors to systematically create each one of the hundreds of design deliverables. The project required an acute attention to detail and clear understanding of the scale of the design system.
The redesign launched successfully and ran from 2004 – 2006 on ABC and its affiliates.
