Karl Zeiss was an audio-visual art project that I created with my brother, Tee Parham. We produced leftfield electronic music and performed it live with visual installations.
Here a few words from Phillip Sherburne from the The Wire, 2004 about the music –
“New York’s Red Antenna is one of the few North American labels to tap in to the Tuetonic strain of minimal Techno. Still, despite the crystaline ring of project alias Karl Zeiss – the duo of brothers Tee and Dan – Currency views the world through a lens that’s been irreparably gunked up, and Zeiss’s sound draws as much from the dirty urban grind of downtown New York as it does the clockwork mechanics of Berlin.
